Set those DVRs.

A new half hour sketch comedy/variety show aimed at educating tweens and teens about a variety of topics, including personal finance, is coming to KCPQ Q13 Fox on Saturday mornings this fall.

The program is called M@dAbout and is being produced by the National Theatre for Children. M@dAbout premieres Saturday, September 11 at 8:30 am.

Each half-hour TV episode will rely on a small company of skilled comedic actors to explore significant topics within a subject area. Episodes will incorporate comic monologues, sketch and improv comedy, eye-catching animation, music videos, humorous “man on the street” interviews, and viewer created questions about life issues.

Think Saturday Night Live meets The Electric Company.

M@dAbout will convey important messages about life skills including:
  • personal finance
  • health and nutrition
  • fitness
  • decision making
  • and more
